I finally got around to putting together this little project of mine. March was a month of putting a lot of words into action.

My contortion teacher, David Garcia, says this to me each week when I'm howling in pain from my stretch.
"Training is bitter, but the reward is sweet."
It could not ring more true than what I accomplished this week. Here's to you, sensei, for always believing in me. Even as I'm shouting expletives at you :)

Hi there, what are you up to this weekend? I'm going to try and catch Hunger Games tomorrow since I'm sure the crowds have subsized by now. Other than that, I'm going to lay low, enjoy the windy, California weather and spend time with my family. Have a good one.

I came across this trailer from my colleague this morning and it looks so good.
Love triangles... how difficult they must be. Here's a super short synopsis.

Hello there, April. You totally came in on the sly!
To kick off the new month with a bang, I'm going to give away three copies of my March and April 2012 playlist (just like what I did here). Please leave a comment below telling me your favorite song of the moment.
I'll mail out the CDs to the first three commenters tomorrow. Cheers!

I'm still reliving the weekend in my mind with these two awesome gals. I had THE. BEST. time at Paper Tales taking Amy Tangerine + Kelly Purkey's class. It's hard to get back to reality.
Please give me a moment while I pull myself together.

This morning when I picked up my work bag to leave the house, I nearly kneeled over from all the weight. Aside from the five pounds of paperwork and mail, which i did sort out eventually, I thought about how much I love looking in other people's bags. So I'll show you mine.
This behemoth of a bag, from Balenciaga, houses my iPad (in a very adorable iPad sleeve by Pink Oasis), cupcake coinpurse from Queen Bee Creations; iPhone, my JSL planner that I cannot live without, pens that serve a specific purpose for a specific task, chewing gum, kleenex, Tory Burch wallet (coutersy of my seester), a key, and a banana. My dad gives me a banana every single day. He looks out for my potassium intake. It's really cute.

When everyone started preparing for Project Life at the end of last year, I knew I'd be a window shopper; gazing wistfully at all the insane amount of creativity out there in blogland while not participating myself. I know my schedule and I know myself - when things get chaotic, crafting is the first to suffer.
I really didn't want to set myself up for disappointment. But I couldn't stop aweing at all the great Project Life projects out there. So I decided to take small steps and tweak it my way. It's definitely not grand and super embellish-y as I'd like it to be, but I'm loving how easy and fast I can whip them up. It's fun to reflect on what I did back in Jan & Feb. xo
